Mienke’s career started when she was 17 years old, when she developed a passion for the pretty things in life. She spent most of her childhood and the majority of her life on stage, and she always had a makeup artist add the final touches to her performances. This is where her passion and appreciation for makeup came from, until she decided to make a career of it herself. She started studying makeup at the age of 17 and worked on her first production job before the age of 18. Her motivation, combined with her work ethic, is what has led her to work with some of the best in the industry. Her belief is that outer beauty is inner beauty made visible and manifests itself in the light that flows in our eyes.
